A bit of advice....
If you ever find yourself in record-breaking heat the day after running 22 miles, it is best to skip your boxing class. Otherwise you may find yourself feeling faint, woozy, swoony halfway into jumping jacks.
Another bit of advice....
If this happens to you, do NOT continue to do jumping jacks. Sit down and put your head between your knees.
Fortunately, I followed my own advice, color returned to my face, and the ambulance drivers made their living doing something other than reviving me last night.
Dizzy spell aside, I'm actually feeling great. Joints all feel good, muscles only hurt where and how much they should two days after a long run. I'M READY!! A couple weeks of resting and eating spaghetti, and I'm tearin' it up in Portland!
