My knee's good, and I'm back on the road again. It felt so good to get out there again last week.
This weekend I went to a party, and there happened to be several other runners there. We all had a great little pow-wow about our various injuries and running ailments. The non-runners there were fascinated by things like the acidity of corn-removing patches, black toes, and exactly how long it takes for a toenail to grow back after it falls off. It was hilarious! Especially the way we all went into gory detail about our battered feet, but none of us were brave enough to take our shoes off. Ah, the glory of distance running!
